CODA HEART 是一個屬於CODA服務的社群，凝聚有心志服務聾人子女及其家人的義工。CODA HEART互助小組不僅從自身成長經歷去服務社群，而且藉著珍惜彼此同路人的微妙關係，建立團隊力量，互相支持。這群CODA互相交流分享、情理兼備，積極學習關於雙語文化、家庭系統及生命成長的知識，體驗同心、同行、同成長的團隊力量，讓CODA社群增值，也讓自身與夥伴建立友誼，在鼓勵和關懷中成長。CODA HEART透過定期聚會及活動凝聚聾人子女在一起。大家雖然來自不同家庭﹐有著不同的故事﹐但藉著同路人身分互相支持並了解彼此。 CODA Heart is a community of CODA service group, it gathers CODA who committed to serve CODA and their families. As CODA volunteers, not only serving from our growth experience, but they also cherish the delicate relationship of being fellows, to build team spirit, support each other and transmit energy to the community. CODA Heart community love and embrace themselves, deliver love to those around. Through sharing and caring, CODA HEART get to learn deeply about bilingual culture, family and life growth relationship. CODA Heart brings CODA together through frequent gatherings and activities. All CODAs come from different family with their own story, securing a place for them in CODA Heart is a kind of support and the cohesion of CODA Heart is magically created by CODA fellows.  香港聾人子女協會 (“CODA HK”) 一直致力推動手語普及化，亦積極參與翻譯工作，希望聾人社群能在更共融的社區環境下享有更優質的生活。除了聾人家庭日常的手語翻譯工作，CODA HK亦不時為政府新聞處的報導進行手語傳譯工作。 CODA HK has always been committed to promoting the popularization of sign language, we actively involved in sign language interpretation and we are hoping that the deaf can enjoy a better quality of life in a more inclusive community. In addition to daily sign language interpretation work for deaf families, CODA HK also provides sign language interpretation work for Information Services Department, HKSAR Region Government. 
CODA HK 除了關注聾人家庭及CODA們的身心健康之外, 亦希望大家有強健的體魄。運動除了可以令我們更健康，同時亦有益身心。CODA HK於12月10日舉辦親子單車遊，邀請聾人父母和子女一起踏單車。當日天氣晴朗，10組聾人家庭, 一行29人由大埔出發經吐露港及科學園，沿途景色優美，大家都十分享受。我們非常鼓勵父母有空多抽時間和子女一起做運動，除了有益身心以外，更加可以促進親子關係，加強大家之間的默契和溝通。 CODA HK cares about mental health of our members, in addition, we also care their physical health. Exercises can help us be more healthy. CODA HK held the Family Cycling Day on Dec 10th, we invited 10 families and their kids which total 29 members to cycle together. The weather was sunny and nice, we set off from Tai Po and went through Science Park and Tolo Harbour. The scenery along the way was beautiful and everyone enjoyed it. We encourage parents to exercise more with kids in their spare time, it is good for both mental and physical health and most importantly to strengthen the Parent-Child bonding and communication.  第12屆香港國際聾人電影節已於2023年12月3日完滿結束，香港聾人子女協會有幸獲邀以嘉賓身分出席盛會。是次活動展示來自世界各地以聾人為主題的電影作品，作品帶出深層意義並大大提昇大眾社會對聾人的了解及關注。香港國際聾人電影節亦多面地宣揚這個多元社群：聾人社群擁有自己的語言、文化、歷史、文學和藝術，我們冀將來社會對聾人社群有更深的認識與支持。在此再次多謝邀請CODA HK出席。 The 12th Hong Kong International Deaf Film Festival has successfully concluded on 3rd December, 2023. CODA HK is honored to be invited as a guest to attend the event. This event showcases deaf-themed films from around the world, which all bring meaningful messages. It greatly enhances the social awareness of deaf people from the society. It is much appreciated that the event promotes this diverse community - the deaf community has its own language, culture, history, literature and art which is unique and valuable. We hope the society will get to know more about the deaf and keep supporting the deaf in the future. Once again, thanks much for the invitation.   家長小組花絮 - 2023年10月份 The Parents Workshop in Oct 2023 was successfully completed. The group tutors of CODA HK and parents worked together to make a variety of handcrafts, such as light clay painting, origami, turkish coaster, sign language flash cards. When their little KODAs were having the speech therapy or playgroup at the other side, parents can relax and enjoy the self-moment by sharing with other parents and making their own interesting mini handcrafts.
Let's check out! How concentrate the parents are! 😊   幼兒言語訓練小組 (2023/10-11)CODA HK一直關注聾人家庭子女的言語發展, 因為幼兒愈早接受言語訓練對他們將來的語言發展有莫大的幫助, 愈早接受訓練除了協助KODA們打好言語基礎, 也令他們學會上課的基本規矩, 為入讀幼稚園或升小學作準備。CODA HK的言語治療小組由言語治療師執教並有2位助教協助課堂, 採用小班教學, 針對幼兒KODA需要進行言語訓練。
課堂上老師會教導日常生活的字詞及發音, 以互動遊戲方式引發幼兒學習語言動機, 同時亦會糾正幼兒的發音。我們很高興, 經過數次小組後, 很多KODA小朋友已有顯注進步, 而且因表達能力改善了, 情緒上亦有明顯改善, CODA HK很高興看到他們的轉變, 希望能幫助更多有需要的KODA。 CODA HK has always been concerned about the speech development of KODAs. We believe receiving speech training at their early stage helps KODAs lay a good foundation, they can also learn rules in the CODA HK’s classroom which is very useful for preparing ahead for their school life. The Speech Therapy at CODA HK is led by a recognized speech therapist with 2 teaching assistants to assist in the lesson. Small group teaching to make sure we can focus on KODAs’ training needs. Teacher teaches daily vocabularies and sight words as well as the most common used sounds in daily life, stimulate KODA's motivation to learn how to speak through interactive games and correct their pronunciation when needed. We are glad that after several sessions, KODAs have noticed significant improvement, and with their better expression, their emotion has also improved. CODA HK is very delighted to see their transformation and hope to help more KODAs in need. |
